Dear Band Parents and Students:

It is with great sadness that I must announce the cancellation of our planned 2010 trip to Chicago. At the conclusion of all of our deadlines for trip deposits, we only had about 33 people signed up for the trip (that number included both students and adults.) To continue the trip with only these few participants would have made the trip very costly and would have undermined the educational and programmatic value of such a venture. I will be returning all the deposits and paperwork back to you ASAP. Please consider applying that money towards our next marching band season. I apologize to all of the seniors who were planning to go on this band trip; unfortunately the time was just not right. It is my hope to plan another trip in the near future when economic conditions are better for everyone.
